Jason's Steamed Clams

| Serves 4 people |
| 5 lbs of Manilla clams |
| 2 Tablespoons minced garlic |
| 3 Tablespoons butter |
| 3 Tablespoons olive oil |
| 1/4 cup 1 lemon |
| 1 cup white wine |
| 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley |
| 2 diced tomatoes |
| 1 Tablespoon ground pepper |
| 1 Tablespoon red pepper flakes (to taste) |
| 1 Tablespoon Italian dry seasoning (e.g., basil, oregano, thyme, etc.) |
| Put all ingredients in large pot and cook on high heat with lid on (so the clams steam) for about 5 minutes. Take lid off and continue to boil (so wine cooks off). When clams open, they're done! |
