Salah's Puttanesca
1/2 Olive Oil
2 cloves of Garlic, mashed and minced
1 lrg or 2 sm Fresh Tomatoes
5 large Fresh Basil leaves, rolled up and chopped with sharp knife
Salt & Pepper to taste
10 Green Olives, sliced
1/2 can Black Olives, sliced
Heat oil in skillet, add garlic and cook, but do not brown. Add tomatoes and
basil, adding a ladle of pasta water.
cook for 5 minutes. Add sliced green and black olives and a little liquid from the
jar of green olives.
Add drained pasta of your choice.
