Krystall's Eggnog Pie

This recipe earned me a $75 award at our Company Christmas Baking Contest.

Crust:
1 1/4 Cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp. Nutmeg
Blend all Crust Ingredients with a fork.
Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
Bake for 8 minutes at 375 degrees.

Pick Up a Ready made Graham Cracker Pie Shell at the supermarket and use as directed.

Filling:
1 pkg. (1/4 oz.) Unflavored Gelatin
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 Tsp. Salt
2 Cups Prepared Eggnog
1 Cup Whipping Cream, Whipped
1 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla
Mix Gelatin, Sugar and Salt in saucepan.
Stir in Eggnog gradually.
Warm over direct heat until Gelatin is dissolved (just below boiling point).
Chill until mixture mounds when it is dropped from a spoon.
Fold in Whipped Cream & Vanilla.

Heap mixture into pie shell & refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.
Top with extra Whipped Cream, flavored to taste.
Garnish with a touch of Nutmeg, if desired.
